During the 4 last weeks, NATO AGS programme industries reached an important milestone regarding the delivery of critical assets for the AGS ground segment.
On 5 of November, Airbus Defence& Space performed the roll out of the MGGS (Mobile General Ground System) at their facilities in Immenstaad (Germany).
On 3 of December, Finmeccanica – Selex ES performed the roll out of the TGGS (Transportable General Ground System) at their facilities in Torino (Italy).
Both these assets will be integrated into NATO AGS (Alliance Ground Surveillance) Core System composed of an Air Segment, a Ground Segment and a Support Segment located in a MOB (Main Operating Base) in Sigonella.
